Puppy Smiles

One of my favorite designers made a card a couple of years ago that I just adored. When I saw this black and white pup, I knew I wanted to case Leslie's card.  I asked her and she said yes! You can see her card here.

And this is mine

Okay so it isn't cow, but the black and white pup is cute too.  I tried to use her layout and colors, without using any of the same products.

I used Stamp On It # 3007 Dog with Garland digital stamp.  As you can see I swapped the garland for a bow, which I had in my Silhouette library.  I also cut the image with the Silhouette Cameo. I'm not so sure about the lady bug embellishment. It may be a little too big.

The sentiment is a Silhouette design.  This may be an New Years sentiment, but I just liked it for this cheerful little puppy.

I would like to enter my puppy with a bow in the QKR Stampede Challenge #306 Anything Goes

Stamps: QKR Stampede Stamp On It #3007 and Verve Stamp"Smile"
Paper: Simple Stories Summer Fresh
Dies: Memory Box Floral Vine & The flower on the inside was cut off of MB Bloomington Border
Embellishments: Paper Studio little yellow flowers & unknown lady bug
Silhouette Cameo cut the image and bow.  Also the printed the inside sentiment.

Thanks Leslie Miller for the inspiration.

With a Capital "T"

This post is do to a nudge from my friend.  So thank you friend!  I am like that lazy teenager you try to get out of bed in the morning. But we all know it's been a LONG time since I was a teenager.

I colored Frosty's scarf first and then I thought it looked rather cool to have only his scarf and nose with color.  So I just did a little shading with gray Copic markers and added little dabs of Copic Opaque White.

This Frosty is a QKR Stampede image (digi238901).  He came with a Christmas tree, but I edited it out.  I have no idea where the snowflake stamps came from other than they were a second hand purchase.  The "Thanks" is a modified Silhouette design.  I added 3 red gems to the snowflakes and used some foam dimensionals behind his head and mittens.

I am sending Frosty out to a couple of challenges and hope he comes back with a prize.

Dallas Cowgirl

My youngest son is a Dallas Cowboy fan, so when I saw this QKR Digi #16004 I just new she was a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader.

I brought the image into the Silhouette Cameo, printed then cut her out.  I colored her up with Copic markers B34, C3, E000, E00, E41, R02, T8 & Y21.

The sentiment was PC generated and I used one of the Memory Box Stitched Clouds to cut it out and placed a couple more clouds in the background. I added the pink tree on the side, which was cut with Memory Box's Love Branch.

For the background I used paper from a Molly and Rex 6X6 pad that I think was purchased at Michael's. I embossed the square frame a Memory Box Stitched Square die. I used another pretty print behind it from that same pad for additional interest.

I can't believe I did this, but I cut the front background in the middle of the 6X6 paper which allowed me to use it on the inside.(Happy accident)!

I used a Paper Trey Ink rick-rack die at the bottom.  The sentiments are Penny Black (top) and

Hampton Art (bottom).

And this is where I got my Inspiration.
I Think my granddaughter Emmy was about 3 when this was taken.

I am entering this little angel in QKR Stampede Challenge #268 Angels.
